Çocuk Edebiyatındaki Özgür Ruhlu Kahramanların Yaşadıkları Çatışmalar Üzerine Karşılaştırmalı Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, çocuk edebiyatı ürünlerindeki çatışma türleri, alt çatışma birimleri, kahramanın konumu ve çatışma çözüm yöntemlerinin tespit edilmesi ve karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma materyali olarak “Küçük Kara Balık” ve “Martı Jonathan Livingston” adlı kitaplar amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Nitel araştırma deseninde gerçekleştirilen çalışmada doküman incelemesi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada elde edilen veriler, betimsel analiz yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada incelen iki kitap, çatışma türleri açısından karşılaştırıldığında “Küçük Kara Balık” adlı eserde, kişileri arası çatışmanın en çok başvurulan çatışma yöntemi olduğu görülmüştür. Kişiler arası çatışmada en çok kullanılan alt çatışma biriminin “kötü kişi veya kişiler ile çatışma” olduğu tespit edilmiştir. “Martı Jonathan Livingston” adlı eserde ise en çok kullanılan çatışma türü kişinin kendiyle olan çatışmasıdır. Bu çatışma türünde “bir hayali/isteği gerçekleştirme çabası” alt çatışma birimine en çok yer verildiği tespit edilmiştir. Kahramanların çatışmanın çözümünde ağırlıklı olarak etkin rol aldığı görülmüştür. Çalışma sonunda elde edilen veriler kapsamında bazı öneriler sunulmuştur.

In this research, it is aimed to identify and comparatively examine the types of conflict, sub-conflict units, the position of the hero and conflict resolution methods in children's literature products. The books named "Little Black Fish" and "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" were determined as the study materials of the research by purposeful sampling method. The document analysis method was used in the study carried out with a qualitative research design. The data obtained in the study was analyzed with the descriptive analysis method. When the two books examined in the research were compared in terms of conflict types, it was seen that interpersonal conflict was the most frequently used conflict method in the work called "Little Black Fish". It has been determined that the most commonly used sub-conflict unit in interpersonal conflict is "conflict with bad person or people". In the work titled "Jonathan Livingston Seagull", the most used type of conflict is the conflict with oneself. It has been determined that in this type of conflict, the sub-conflict unit "attempt to realize a dream/desire" is given the most space. It has been observed that heroes mainly take an active role in resolving the conflict. Some suggestions were presented within the scope of the data obtained at the end of the study.
