It was determined that quality of life and depression are significant predictors of HbA1c (R-2 = 0.72, P < 0.01). Practice Implications The depression levels of the young people with increased and their metabolic control was affected negatively as the quality of life levels decreased. Depression measurements should be made during the routine control of youth with diabetes who have difficulty in maintaining metabolic control. tr
