Güzel sanatlar lisesi müzik bölümü öğrencilerinin müzikle uğraşan kişiye yönelik imajları

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi öğrencilerinin görselleştirdikleri imajlara göre müzikle uğraşan kişiyi nasıl gördüklerini tespit etmek ve cinsiyete göre incelemektir. 2019- 2020 eğitim öğretim yılında 103 gönüllü öğrenci ile nitel bir anket ile fenomenolojik bir çalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Anket, katılımcıların demografik özelliklerini, müzikle uğraşan kişiye dair imajlarını tanımlayan çizim ve yansımalarını, ayrıca müzikle uğraşan saygın kişilerin kimler olduğunu ve öğrenci görüşlerinin altında yatan sebepleri incelemeye dönük açık uçlu sorular içermektedir. Anket bulgularına göre, öğrencilerin müzikle uğraşan kişiye yönelik algılarının olumlu, öğretmenliğe dönük imajlarının yetersiz olduğu sonucuna varılabilir. Öğrenciler, bu kişiyi genellikle güler yüzlü ve bakımlı, hem şık hem de spor giyimli olarak algılamışlardır. Özellikle kız öğrencilerin imajlarında uzun saçlı, uzun boylu, bakımlı ve şık giyimli olmak gibi özelliklerin sahnede, konser salonlarında, televizyon programlarında performans sergileyen kişiyi hayal etmeleri ile ilişkilendirilebilir. Saygın müzik kişileri cinsiyetlerine göre incelendiğinde, Neşet Ertaş'ın erkek öğrenciler tarafından ilk sırada, Fazıl Say'ın ise kız öğrenciler tarafından ikinci sırada ifade edildiği ortaya çıkmaktadır. Elde edilen sonuçlar, Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi öğrencilerinin geleceğin müzik eğitmeni olarak yetiştirilmesine yardımcı olacağı düşünülmektedir.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how Fine Arts High School students see people engaged in music based on the images they visualize, in terms of their gender. In the 2019-2020 academic year, a phenomenological study design was carried out with 103 volunteer students, completing a survey as a qualitative tool. The survey explored the participants’ demographics, their drawings, and reflections of the images of the individuals engaged in music, and also included open-ended questions to examine who the prestigious individuals practicing music are and what reasons are underlying their opinions of those people. Based on the findings drawn from the survey, it can be concluded that the student's perceptions of people practicing music are positive and their image of teaching is insufficient. They generally perceive these people to be smiling and well-groomed, both stylishly and sportingly dressed. Especially in the images of the female students, such features as being long-haired, tall, well-groomed, and stylishly dressed can be associated with the fact that they image those people performing on the stage, in the concert halls, on television programs, and therefore in the spotlight. When the respected music people are examined based on their gender, it is revealed that Neşet Ertaş is expressed by the majority of male students in the first place and Fazıl Say in the second place by female students. It is thought that the results obtained will help to train and guide Fine Arts High School students, who will mostly become prospective music teachers.
