Bu tezde, Roma’nın imparatorluk dönemindeki (İÖ27-İS476) Yahudi
isyanlarından biri olan, Büyük İsyanın tarihi incelenmektedir. Bu incelemede Yahudilerin
Roma hâkimiyetine girişinden Büyük İsyanın sonuçlarına kadar olan tarihi dönem, isyan
odaklı olarak ele alınmaktadır. İsyanın uzak ve yakın nedenleri ile isyanın sonuçları bu
çalışmanın ana eksenini oluşturmaktadır.
In this dissertation, the history of the Great Revolt, one of the Jewish revolts in
the Roman imperial period (BCE27-CE476), is examined. In this study, the historical
period from the entrance of the Jews under Roman rule to the results of the Great Revolt
is handled with a focus on rebellion. The distant and near causes of the rebellion and the
results of the rebellion constitute the main axis of this study.
