Çocuk gelişimi programına devam eden öğrencilerin çocuk sevme düzeylerinin bazı değişkenler açısından incelenmesi: Ağrı örneği

Abstract

Amaç: Bir devlet üniversitesinin çocuk gelişimi ön lisans programına devam eden öğrencilerin çocuk sevme düzeylerinin demografik değişkenlere göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırmaya çocuk gelişimi programına devam eden bütün öğrenciler katılmıştır (n=131). Veriler, Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Barnett Çocuk Sevme Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan öğrencilerin Barnett Çocuk Sevme Ölçeğinin toplam puan ortalamasının (70,03±0,633) yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin bölümü seçme isteklerine göre farklılaşma durumuna bakıldığında, Barnett Çocuk Sevme Ölçeğinin toplam puanında öğrencilerin bölümü seçme isteklerine göre anlamlı farklılık elde edilmiştir (U=1088,5, p<0,05). Sonuç: Araştırmanın sonucunda çocuk sevgisi düzeyinin belli faktörleri etkilediği saptanmıştır

Aim: It was aimed to determine whether the students’ love level for children, attending in a two-year child development program in a state university differs, significantly according to the demographic variables. Materials and Methods: All students attending the child development program were included in the study (n=131). Data were collected with the Personal Information Form and the Barnett Child Loving Scale. Results: It was determined that the total mean score of the Barnett Child Loving Scale of the students participating in the study was high (70.03±0.633). Considering the differentiation status of students according to their desire to choose the department, a significant difference was found in the total score of the Barnett Child Loving Scale according to the students' willingness to choose the department (U=1088.5, p<0.05).
