Bu çalışmada organik fosforlu pestisitler olan azinphos-methyl ve
dimethoate’ın sığır karaciğer katalaz enzim aktivitesi üzerine olan etkisi incelenmiştir.
Katalaz enzimi azinphos-methyl ve dimethoate’ın 0’dan 500 ppm’e değişen
derişimlerine maruz bırakılmıştır. Azinphos-methyl ile etkileşen katalaz aktivitesinde
geri dönüşümsüz inhibisyon gözlemlenmiştir. Dimethoate’ın 25, 50 ve 100 ppm
derişimlerinde katalaz enzim aktivitesinde düşüş gözlemlenirken, 250 ve 500 ppm
derişimlerinde katalaz enzim aktivitesinde artış gözlemlenmiştir.
In this study, the effect of organic phosphorus pesticides azinphos-methyl and
dimethoate on bovine liver catalase enzyme activity were investigated. The catalase
enzyme was exposed to concentrations ranging from 0 to 500 ppm of azinphos-methyl
and dimethoate. Irreversible inhibition was observed in catalase activity interacting
with azinphos-methyl. Decrease in catalase enzyme activity was observed at the
concentrations of 25, 50 and 100 ppm dimethoate while an increase in catalase enzyme
activity was observed at the concentrations of 250 and 500 ppm dimethoate.
