Ortaöğretim düzeyi müzik derslerinde kullanılan okul çalgıları ve bu çalgıların öğretiminde karşılaşılan sorunların incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı; ortaöğretim düzeyi müzik eğitiminde kullanılan okul çalgılarının ve bu çalgıların öğretiminde karşılaşılan sorunların belirlenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklemini Kayseri ilinde bulunan merkez ilçelerdeki, MEB’e bağlı devlet okullarında müzik dersini yürüten müzik öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel analiz yönteminden faydalanılmış ve bulgular yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonunda, ortaöğretim düzeyi müzik derslerinde kullanılan okul çalgılarının öğretim programını gerçekleştirme konusunda yetersiz kaldığı, müzik derslerinde kullanılan çalgıların çok kısıtlı olduğu, öğretmenlerin ve öğrencilerin ortaöğretim düzeyi müzik derslerinde kullanılması amacıyla blok flüt dışındaki çalgıları edinmekte güçlük çektikleri öte yandan derslerde kullanılacak olan farklı okul çalgılarının müzik derslerine olan ilgiyi arttırdığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda, orta öğretim düzeyi müzik derslerinin çalgı eğitimi boyutu açısından gerçekleştirilebilmesi için öğrenciler blok flüt dışında kullanabilecekleri okul çalgılarına yönlendirilmeli, çalgı edinebilmeleri için veli ve okul idaresinin desteği alınmalı ve öğrencilerin farklı okul çalgılarına karşı beğenileri arttırılmalıdır.

The purpose of this research is to determine the school instruments used in secondary school music education and to identify the problems encountered in teaching of these instruments. Music teachers who work in state schools affiliated to MNE in Kayseri province constitutes the population of the research, and the sample is constituted of music teachers who conduct music lessons in public schools in the central provinces of Kayseri. Semi-structured interview technique was used in the study. In the analysis of the data, the descriptive analysis method was used and the findings were interpreted. In this study, it was found that instruments used in secondary schools’ music lessons are inadequate to implementation of the curriculum; the instruments used in music lessons were very limited; teachers and students had difficulty in accessing instruments other than block flute for using music classes in secondary schools, on the other hand using different school instruments in the classes were found to increase the interest in music lessons. In line with these results, to perform the secondary education level music course in terms of instrument education dimension, the students should be guided to use school instruments apart from block flute; the support of parents and the school administration should be obtained for making students to get the instruments and the students’ appreciation towards different school instruments should be increased.
