Osmanlı tarih yazımında önemli bir kaynak: Sultan III. Ahmet dönemine ait bir münşeat

Abstract

Osmanlı Devleti’nden günümüze intikal etmiş çok zengin bir arşiv malzemesi mevcuttur. Osmanlılar kuruluşundan itibaren resmî belgeleri muhafazaya, bugünkü tabirle arşivciliğe büyük önem vermiş ve günümüze belge ve defter serilerinden oluşan zengin bir arşiv bırakmıştır. Bu çalışmada bu zengin arşiv içerisinde yer alan Münşeât Mecmualarının tarihî olaylardaki önemi konu edilecektir. Bu önemi ortaya koyan sultan III. Ahmet dönemi olayları arasında yer alan Pasarofça Antlaşması öncesinde ve sonrasındaki olaylar hakkında kaleme alınmış bir münşeât mecmuasının tanıtımı yapılacaktır. Bu Münşeât Mecmuasının ihtiva ettiği mektup başlıkları tarihleriyle birlikte indeks olarak verilmiştir. İçerisinde oldukça önemli yazışmalar bulunan bu münşeâtın ilim dünyasına kazandırılması önem arz etmektedir.
