Adıyaman Üniversitesi beden eğitimi ve spor yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin iletişim becerileri ve duygusal zekâ düzeylerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Adıyaman Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi Spor Yüksek Okulu’ndaki Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği ve Antrenörlük Eğitimi Bölümlerinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin, iletişim becerileri ve duygusal zekâ durumlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın evrenini 2018- 2019 öğretim yıllarında Adıyaman Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi Spor Yüksek Okulu’nda öğrenim gören Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği ve Antrenörlük Eğitimi Bölümlerinde amatör ve profesyonel düzeyde bireysel ve takım sporu yapan (1,2,3,4.Sınıf) tüm öğrenciler (242 kişi) oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak anket yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada elde edilen veriler SPSS 22 programına kayıt edildikten sonra önce güvenirlilik analizi ve normallik testleri uygulanmıştır. Anket formunda yer alan Duygusal Zekâ Ölçeğinin ve İletişim Becerileri Ölçeğinin Cronbach Alpha güvenirlilik değerleri sırasıyla 0,845 ve 0,786 olduğu görülmektedir Çalışmanın sonunda, takım sporu yapan sporcuların duygusal zekâ ölçeğinin duyguların kullanımı ve duyguların değerlendirilmesi alt boyutlarında erkek sporcular lehine, takım sporu yapan sporcularda bireysel spor yapan sporculara göre daha yüksek olduğu ve aralarındaki farkında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu belirtilmiştir.

The aim of this study was to investigate the communication skills and emotional intelligence of the students of the Physical Education and Sports Teaching and Coaching Education Departments of Adıyaman University School of Physical Education and Sports. The population of the study consists of all students (242 person) who are active in individual and team sports (1,2,3,4th grade) in the Physical Education and Sports Teaching and Coaching Education Departments of Adıyaman University School of Physical Education and Sports in 2018-2019 academic years. In this study, questionnaire method was used as data collection tool. After the data obtained in the study were recorded in SPSS 22 program, reliability analysis and normality tests were applied first. The Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient of the Emotional Intelligence Scale and Communication Skills Scale were found to be 0.845 and 0.786, respectively. At the end of this study, it was stated that the emotional intelligence scale of the team athletes was higher in the use of emotions and evaluation of emotions sub-dimensions in favor of male athletes than the individual athletes doing team sports and it was determined statistically significant.
